Design TipsIn order to assist you with the design of a quality product, we have created this very basic explanation of designing. In addition to reading this guide, please browse our portfolio of completed projects. We hope it provdes you with design inspiration. The initial consideration in designing is size. The most common and economical are 3/4" to 1-1/4", measured on the longest dimension. In viewing the samples to the right, you will see that as you select a larger size, the adornment gets "geometrically" larger, thus the more metal and covering material is required. In our opinion, the most economical size to create the pin with the most detail is 1 1/4 inch. Simplicity of design often makes the most legibly produced product; however, utilizing our skilled artistic capabilities, we can help you produce the most intricate of designs. Our art department enables us to produce your custom design in every color of the Pantone¨ spectrum. There are five different metal plating finishes available: gold, silver, copper, nickel and black. Your Plating selection can be enhanced with an antiquing process, sandblasting or "misty" finish. Imitation jewels may be added for emphasis when the design of your adornment suggests it. |
